Statement of Purpose
To provide low overhead, cooperatively run market places for vegetables, fruits and related agricultural products grown and produced in Mendocino and nearby counties.
To sponsor and coordinate Certified Farmers Markets strategically located throughout this and adjacent counties to encourage and support the direct marketing of locally grown and produced agricultural products in accordance with the State of California direct marketing regulations.
To facilitate and provide educational opportunities for current or potential growers and producers to enhance their productivity and to encourage their participation in the Farmers Market.
